History
Why do we call it "Lakeview Acres?"
The name Lakeview Acres actually comes from the name of the old country school house which was named Lake View School.

Where are the lakes?
Before land leveling and irrigation wells, there were a series of lakes or ponds which could be seen from the school house itself that sat right in between them. They have long since gone by the wayside due to change of drainage & weather patterns.

Located just a half-mile from the original Santa Fe Trail, we are sitting in the middle of prime farm country which produces excellent pheasant hunting.

Lakeview Acres is located on the Miller Family homesite. The hunting service is run by fourth generation heir Henry W. Miller and his family.
